Annual Report and Accounts: April 2010-March 2011
In 2010-11 Heart of the City helped businesses navigate in a new political and economic climate, as well as the new concept of the 'Big Society', to impact positively on their communities and the environment. Some of the highlights include:
- We helped companies support communities with 5,000 volunteers.
- We celebrated our 10th anniversary

We launched a set of intimate Chatham House rule events to allow businesses to really drill-down the nitty-gritty of CSR reporting and businesses engagement in schools.

Annual Report and Accounts: April 2009-March 2010
Our 2009-2010 annual report and accounts is a testament how Heart of the City enables business to really make a difference to their communities and environment. Some of the achievements we are most proud of include:
- In 2009-10 we enabled our members to contribute £7,281,079.83 to charitable causes
- We increased the number of businesses we worked with by 30% compared to 2008
- Through Heart of the City, our Newcomer businesses are now able to learn from experienced CSR professionals from over 80 corporate members
