Join us with the Lord Mayor at the Mansion House
The Rt Hon The Lord Mayor, Alderman David Wootton, would like to invite your Chairman/CEO to join him at the Mansion House to hear about Heart of the City: a charity which provides completely free support over a one year period to businesses wanting to develop a Corporate Social Responsibility programme.
Date: 27th or 29th March
Time: 8am - 9:15am
Over breakfast, you will have the opportunity to:
- Network and to hear from the Chairmen and Chief Executives of businesses of a range of sectors, from small architectural practices to large multinational banks that have benefited from the programme.
- Share their experiences of the challenges and rewards they faced whilst developing their CSR programmes and of the resulting business benefits.
Key Speakers
One of the reasons why the Heart of the City Programme is so effective is that it is fuelled by uniquely practical, hands-on support from over 90 leading businesses. These Contributor businesses have had many years' experience of developing and maintaining CSR programmes.
- On the 27th of March, the key speakers include Ruby McGregor-Smith, CBE (CEO, MITIE) and Neil Svensen (CEO, Rufus Leonard).
- On the 29th of March, the key speakers include Penelope Biggs (Head of Institutional Investor Group, Northern Trust) and Robert Bond (Partner and Notary Public, Speechly Bircham LLP)

To be eligible, your business must employ more than 5 people and be based in the City of London or in the City fringe boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Southwark, Lambeth, Hackney, Islington and Camden.
