Carolyn Housman
Director 

Carolyn Houseman

Carolyn is the Director of Heart of the City and leads on the strategic development and growth of the programme.

Before joining Heart of the City, Carolyn was the Corporate Responsibility Manager for the City of London Corporation where she managed the Lord Mayor’s Dragon Awards, City Action and the City Procurement project, amongst other initiatives. She previously worked in CSR at Cadbury Schweppes, co-ordinated the US human rights film festivals for Amnesty International and was a consultant at the International Centre for Migration Policy Development.

Carolyn is a past Director of the Board of the School Governor’s One-Stop Shop and has sat on the Education and Employer’s Task Force expert working group, the East London Business Place Steering Group and the Supply Cross River Steering Group.

Carolyn has a BSc in International Law from Georgetown University and an MSc in International Politics from the London School of Economics. She is an accredited partnership broker.

Stephanie Gaydon
Project Manager

Stephanie GaydonAfter completing a Psychology degree at the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, Stephanie worked as a Challenge Events Manager for a children’s charity before moving to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity’s Corporate Partnerships team. As an Account Executive Stephanie worked extensively with SME’s as well as larger City based firms to support their employee fundraising, volunteering, payroll giving and company charitable giving schemes.

Stephanie joined Heart of the City in June 2010.

Alice Durand 
Project Manager

Alice is a Masters graduate in Business Management, with experience in the fields of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), marketing and communications. Before joining Heart of the City, Alice worked with the charity Business in the Community, first as a Coordinator for a National employee volunteering project and later as a Senior Project Officer for The Prince's Seeing is Believing, a programme engaging senior business leaders on CSR issues. Alice also has experienced working in Communications and Marketing for private sector companies including Eurostar and JC Decaux Airport Bangkok.

Alice joined Heart of the City in March 2012.  

Jordana Jackson 
Project Coordinator

Jordana JacksonJordana graduated with a BSc in Psychology from the University of Western Ontario, Canada, after which she moved to London to study Law.  Upon completing her LLB from Queen Mary, University of London, she elected to pursue opportunities in the third sector and worked for human rights charities Reprieve and Freedom  from Torture.  Her experience in the charity sector led to an interest in corporate responsibility and corporate community involvement.  Prior to joining Heart of the City, Jordana worked in the City of London Corporation’s Corporate Responsibility team, organising the Lord Mayor’s Dragon Awards and supporting the wider CR programme, including City Action and the internal Employee Volunteering Programme.
