Useful contacts for charities

Heart of the City cannot offer charities direct access to any of the companies we work with; we mostly work with brokering organisations such as City Action, the East London Business Alliance and Education Business Partnerships to help companies forge partnerships with charities and community organisations.

If you are looking for business volunteers, corporate donations or gifts in kind please download our list of useful contacts for charities (PDF). We are happy to receive information on specific events and projects that need support and can advertise these on our website. To send us information on your organisation's events, please email us at: info_heartofthecity@cityoflondon.gov.uk|

The London Community Panel

In 2004 the SMART Company set up the London Community Panel, in association with Heart of the City. The purpose of the panel is to listen to the views of communities in the boroughs neighbouring the City, to find out their opinions on Corporate Community Involvement.

Heart of the City has commissioned research through this panel in 2004 and 2005 to canvass the views of community leaders in London boroughs surrounding the City fringe: Westminster, Islington, Hackney, Greenwich, Southwark, City, Camden, Lambeth, Tower Hamlets and Newham.
